The work blocks are comprised of assignments with sorting cards. Some assignment require classifying (for example, a picture of the lungs with its name) or sequencing (for example, the evaluation from protozoa to the first humans).
Each sheet has the following characteristics:
1.”Isolation of the aspect”: each sheet has a specific highlighted aspect and is the subject of the work.
2. The materials are “self-correcting”. The child can check the answers themselves. This self-correcting method is essential because they will learn to work independent and gain self-confidence. The child can do the assignment once, and later with a peer or with the teacher.
3. The work sheet contains the “voice of things”. Aesthetic feelings are promoted by making the materials appealing. The materials are designed in a way that teachers and children want to work with them.
